From 19 July 2023, the new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 has officially entered into force.
All machinery products placed on the EU market must comply with the Regulation’s requirements and bear the CE marking.
The previous Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC will be fully replaced after its transition period ends.
From 20 January 2027, only CE certificates issued in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 will be accepted within the EU.
